Domaine Magellan’s Le Fruit Défendu is a blend of 90% Cinsault and 10% Syrah from 6 hectares of old Cinsault vines grown on sandstone soils. The vines come from field selections conducted in Châteauneuf-du-Pape in the 1960’s. All fruit is destemmed and fermented in concrete tanks. This is an excellent accompaniment to veal, grilled meats and vegetables or roasted poultry.
