Negra, Maturana

Loncomilla, Maule Valley, Chile
Varietal: San Francisco (Negramoll)

Introduced by the Spaniards in the 16th century, it was listed as a “merit” strain, as it could feed the body and spirit, both as fresh and fermented grapes.

Known as San Francisco, today it regains its merit from the hand of the winemaker José Ignacio Maturana, who offers us a simple and fresh Loncomilla (Maule) wine, with black notes of violet, redcurrant, blackberry and lot of pepper.

The wine made in open barrels with native yeasts and has a great black fruit character with soft tannins.
