Varietal: Grenache grafted on Pais

Smooth Garnacha made from heritage vines grown in Loncomilla, a remote sub-region of the Maule Valley in Chile. The grapes are dry-farmed by small family growers. In the Maturana winery they go through an ancestral winemaking process, including 10 months ageing in amphorae.

“Maturana makes a delicious unoaked red from Garnacha top grafted onto 100 years-old Pais vines which has a lovely dry texture and wild dark fruits. Good value.”
