Charles Frey is a 14 hectares family-owned estate, based in Dambach-la-Ville. They are entirely dedicated to the Biodynamic culture since 1996, in both the vineyard and the cellar.
The family history goes back to the 18th century : first vintage was made in 1963, by Charles Frey, upon his return from the war, today, the vineyard is run by 3rd generation Julien and Thiébaud. Boasting remarkable and diverse terroir with sand, granite, clay, silt, mica.
Citrus notes (bergamot) and white flowers (elderflower) predominate. A mineral wine with an outstandingly fresh finish.
